Does anyone have any idea when Cingular will release the 2.3 update for bes/bis internet or the 4.2 firmware for the 8700c?

I'm also curious if we will have the option of changing our email address to the attwireless.blackberry.net domain or not

i surely do not want a mycingular.blackberry.net email address any more now that the name is changing.

Here is the 4.2 firmware that i have been using for some time. I don't believe its considered illegal warez.

Why would you care about the *.blackberry.net address anyway? It should only be used for forwarding.

If you want 4.2 now just load the Telefonica firmware. There's no reason to wait for Cingular unless you just want to wait. It took them forever to release the last 8700 OS update. If there's ever a support issue you can just load whatever the latest Cingular OS is...
