Hey everyone,
Just a quick question. I have a Bell BlackBerry 7130e and today I noticed on the signal area of the screen it reads 1xev. It used to consistently read 1XEV (notice the case change) when in the exact same location (my house) and would switch between 1XEV and 1X while traveling throughout the province. I looked in the manual and it only describes the following indicators:
D = Digital, cellular, emergency, SMS
1x = same as digital
1X = same as 1x plus Email/PIN/MMS/Browser
1XEV = same as 1X plus high speed connectivity
Any ideas?
Thanks

Its due to the RIM network outage that's affecting the entire western hemisphere.

Thanks to those who replied.
I'm guessing the reason was that RIM's network was down last night.
