Just got my 6590i and I am quite satisfied.
It signal strength is surprinsingly strong in my area of mississauga that is the most GSM "unfriendly" area you'd ever be in. However, still no signal in the basement, but I never could make a call even with my tdma :-(
I really like the taupe colour and the blue lumination. I think the radio feature is great and the quality of the FM is quite good even with my existing earpiece.
The calendar appears to default to a monthly view. I prefer the "daily view" . I'll have to check into that.
The size and proximity of the send and menu buttons will take a little getting used as I'm used to my 8800's sliding cover. Made for people with small fingers. You definitely DO NOT WANT TO DIAL WHEN DRIVING. It is quite difficult to do. It's easy to misdial. I recommend using the voice tags for this.
If you're like me and prefer NOKIA's GUI, then you'll fit right in with it's ease of use. I"m a Nokia die-hard. I simply could not get used to Mot's GUI's.
My concern is the sheer weight of this phone. It is really light and more on the "flimsy" side. For those users who "tend to lose things" , this may be included as yet "another thing to lose" due to it's size & weight.
Overall , I'm really glad I made the choice with this one.

Updated Review:
I'm finding this phone increasingly difficult to hold as it's too small for me. Yes, I admit, I prefer my 8800 series with the sliding cover all the way as there is more to hold onto.
Cannot change the calendar feature to show the Day only for notes, it only shows a monthly calendar.
Low Ringer, but great vibe
Still getting used to the Send and Menu button as they are very close together.
That's it for now..
