Is it at all possible to plug my USB 802.11g adapter to my Nokia E62 to get WLAN access for my phone? The E61 stateside was was neutered of the WLAN features for affordability to become the E62.
This way I can connect to my local WLAN at home or hotspot on the road.
Would there be enough power through the port to power the USB 802.11g adapter?
If so, how can I make it so?
Thanks!

i dont think they did that for affordability, i think they did it to
1) make sure you pay lots of money for jacked up "smartphone" connection plan
2) to try to prevent voip.
as far as what you want to do.. i have no idea. i have a n80 and i read somewhere that i can connect a computer (that does not have wifi) to a hotspot using the wifi card of the n80. ..not that anybody would buy a laptop without a wifi card, but maybe you can set your phone to access the internet via your laptop wifi connection?
kind of the reverse of what pc suite does natively.
maybe <shrug>
good luck
