HTC Warranty?

I looking into buying a HTC TyTN/P4350/P4550 in Canada, and I would like to know how I would go about ensuring that the manufacturer warranty is respected in Canada:
If I buy from outside Canada (exported)?
If I buy it in Canada?
If I buy use, like eBay?

Can anyone recommend a reputable and with good price:
Store in Montreal, Quebec
Store and/or web site in Canada
Web site in US (if warrentty is not void)

Thanks,

You're going to get sub-par warranty coverage on this continent. I bought mine from PhoneSource-USA.com and so did a friend of mine. He had to send his back and it cost him 3 weeks without the device, and almost $200 in shipping charges. It was a mess, apparently. I wish I had waited for the 8525 to be released and just got that - at least then Cingular would have handled warranty issues for me instead of crappy PhoneSource-USA.

I beleive that you are in the US and bought from a US source, and your friend got some problem, but that probably have to do with the source not being reputable...

But that does not tell me anything when you buy from canada?

you are screwed basically, there is no support because americans are slow with technology and dont want change, thats why we have nothing good over here.
