Hello All,

I am fairly new to the PDA/smartphone era and was wondering if someone out there could offer some assitance? I previously owned a palm treo 600 however I didn't use it to its full potential. Mainly just for basic phone calls text messaging and pic's. To tell u the truth it was a gift. Anyways, I have changed phones between then and now. Once again been given another Treo. A 680 to be exact.

I'm now getting more interested in the phone market and what many of them have to offer. My problem is the variety is so much and recently I think I may have caught the blackberry bug! Or perhaps the Iphone bug! Can anybody give me any facts/personal opinion on the Treo 680 vs. the Blackberry 8700/8800 vs. the Iphone? Omit any mentioning of the camera feature cause I already know that Blackberry only has one phone on the market with that feature.

I know I have the Treo already but I would like some opinions and some factual info to help me decide. Thanks to all who reply.

Depends on what your main needs are for the device. If email is a priority, then BlackBerry is the one. If you're looking for more PDA functionality, then BlackBerry and Treo do it well. I had a Treo myself and didn't like the keyboard, 600 and 650 models, and find the BlackBerry OS to be much more stable.
