This has been happening to me for the last 3 hours. The phone worked fine this morning when I got to the office. I rebooted my 8525 3 times already. It will come up with 4 bars on the signal indicator and then switch to no reception after a few seconds.

I lost service (no signal) twice this morning in Chelsea. I did not have to reboot though, I just hit the power button which is like flight mode on your phone and when I turned it back on, it was fine both times.

I am getting a "Network Not Available" in northeast Queens when I launch my browser. I have voice service, but no data. CS says there are problems with the data network. I first noticed it at 13:00 NYC time when I went to check e-mail. It's 16:10 and the problem is still occurring.

Everything is good in Brooklyn except some weird echos.

Everything is fine now. I rebooted mt V3i at 16:00 and was able to connect after that. I wish CS would have recommended that when I called them earlier in the day. Lesson learned.

Should always try that *before* calling CS

well ever since good ol' ATT came in the picture, it seems my Blackjack likes to have so so reception here in yonkers/white plains area. It goes from 4 bars to 1 to 4 to 0 to 4 every sec of the day. I doubt its the BJ because it been great for a few months now.

what you guys think?

This is getting to be frustrating! After around 4 hours of downtime, the voice and data network seemed to be working fine at around 5 PM yesterday.

But this morning, the data network seems to be unavailable again in NYC No "U" indicator. Not even a "G".

I guess the network they advertise to have the fewest dropped calls is not the most reliable one for data.

Come on Cingular, fix your damed network.

I don't know, I haven't had a single issue today and was actually pulling good numbers with my speed.

Do you have a 3G SIM?

hmm, thats funny, i've had nothing but great service in nyc, even inside a 41 story building full bars in 3g even in the elevator, and same great service even in queens.

i'm thinking about installing WM6, but wondering if i'm going to have any trouble with the internet settings.

any thoughts?
