Is there any way to rearrange the order of the items on the home screen on a Dash? i.e. on the Windows Default home screen, could you move the "messages" bar under the comm manager bar?

sure, just modify the xml file of the homescreen you are using.
these are normally found in application files/home.

i've messed around with modifying and its really not worth the effort.

tahts what i thought to. because if your going to customise the screen then your most likely going to put program up there but whats the point you can just use the recent programs on the top that your just accessed for it...

I'm pretty picky about my layouts, i want the most viewed information first and the less relevant stuff after. I want to put the message bar below the provider bar because i am a heavy text message user, then the calender bar, then the profile bar. Mostly for ease of viewing.

well I opened and edited the .xml file and rearranged the order of the plugins on my home screen. it was a simple copy and paste fix.

look up a program called facade. i have it on mine and it looks awesome

Facade works for me.

Uninstall every 12 days.
Restore previously backed up Registry.
Install Facade.

Repeat.
