Well I'm sad to say that now that summers coming I dont need a PDA untill this fall again when school starts back up. I want to get a Motorola KRZR but I would like to know when this phone is going to be branded over to att? does anyone know?

I'm not sure but mine started saying AT&T on the homescreen today instead of cingular.

Not sure, but I think MyPyle might be referring to the actual phone branding, not the sim. Those will all be updated eventually. All the Krazr's they had at 2 of the corp stores I visited this week still had the cingular branding on the outside of the phone.

If you're going to get a PDA in the fall anyway, does it really matter if the phone you get now has AT&T branding or not?

well no i already have a pda right now. They cingular 8525 but I will be using that again in the fall when school starts back up.

Why not just get a different colored Krzr unlocked... it'll be the same price as the blue one cingular carries but minus the 2 year agreement you'll have to sign to get it! I just bought another Krzr but this time in black and only payed 210 for it and if i had bought it in store i would have payed 200 after mail-in rebate.

Best part is its unlocked and no contract extension!

I wasn't even looking to upgrade just buying the phone. iam also considering the platinum to.
