KRZR doesn't recognize songs on disk/red screen

Sorry if this has been asked already - I tried looking but couldn't seem to find it.

I've synched songs to a 1GB SanDisk micro SD card through the USB using Media Player 11. When I go to My Music through Get It Now, the screen turns red for about a minute then goes back to standby mode. We have two of the phones and it happens to both with the same disk. Naturally, I haven't heard back from Verizon yet.....

Also, I've about determined that I won't be able to upload my own Ringtones and can only buy from them. Is this correct or is there a way around this? I've already worked my way around the wallpaper thing by sending myself pictures. Switching carriers isn't an option at this point, but I wish I'd known that before I bought the silly things......

Personally I'd try to add music with the "SYNC" command through the phone itself with a USB cable. I have no issues that way, and you can still use WMP11.

As for the second part, we have a few threads about adding ringtones to your K1M. Use the search function, im far too lazy to get a link.

That's what I did - the 1GB disk was in the phone at the time. Now Verizon wants me to take it in to a technician, but I was still hoping for a possible answer around here.
