SMS sending as MMS on V3xx

Got a really weird problem that i can NOT figure out. Its iwith my 2 month old V3xx.

Whenever i go to create a new text message, it allows me to type a text as normal and the top right corner even says SMS. But when i go to the next screen to select my recepients, it changes to MMS. When I send it, it sends my SMS as an MMS. Most people that receive these messages from me says it is coming up as a slide show, and that my original message is SOMEWHERE within the slide show.

does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this??? I rely on texting for my work and not being able to text is hurting business!

I think if you delete some of your txt messages in the inbox and outbox, it will solve the problem.

Yeah you have to delete some of your text messages, its a bug that some phones have... just make it practice when you get to like 150 or 200 inbox and outbox to delete all and you should be fine!

yeah it really is tough to do. i clean mine out every other day it seams.
