free ringtone

k i am going to get the ringtones to my phone via usb cable now here are a couple of questions i have i have a v3c. I am wondering wether to use p2k commander or noob friendly. bitpim. also i could edit all my songs with audicity which i think i will do but seeing that im lazy is there a place on the web i can download an alredy made ringtone? thanks in advance

Um... 10hrs you wait?

Keep in mind, the phone you have is a CDMA phone, the section you are in is visited by mostly GSM users... so they don't use the same programs and tools as CDMA users do...

For example, GSM users can't make use of BitPim as its for CDMA phones only... And CDMA users can have some issues with P2KCommander as its meant for GSM phones.

BitPim is better. You don't have to worry about anything special.. use its GUI options to add ring tones... Read its help, and it tells you that it can crop/edit/re-encode MP3's as it copies them to the phone.

Since you have an alltel phone, you might have to manually set bitpim for V3CM phone so you have the option to ADD... but that is it...

As for already made ring tones.. there are plenty of sites if you search... I have the ring tones I use at -> http://mark.cdmaforums.com/V710_Ringers.htm
