How thick is the Sync (A707)?

I'm seeing some contradicting info...

phonescoop shows the A707 at 17mm (0.67") thick... http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=1063

Cingular shows it at 0.69" (17.5mm)
(on the specs tab)
http://www.cingular.com/cell-phone-...q_sku=sku230004

While phonearena.com shows it as 26mm (1.02")... http://www.phonearena.com/htmls/Sam...120-p_1762.html

And Cingular Premier shows it as 1.02" thick

So what is the real thickness?? It doesn't seem like it's 26mm thick, but that's what I want to confirm.

I've had it with my 8525 - it's too much of a pain to carry around in my pockets. I'm willing to sacrifice the 8525's power for something small and compact. I had a Blackjack for 1 week, but didn't really like it. Now I'm considering just going with regular flip. But I'd like to get something 3G. Once you go 3G, you can't go back to GSM!

RAZR V3XX and A707 are two 3G candidates. The 3125 is appealing, but it's not 3G. LG CU500 not an option, I can't stand LG phones (had them in the past on vzw).

cheers

The phone is 17mm. I have one and there is no way its 26mm thats thicker then the 8525!

I would go with the V3xx though, I have heard nothing but good about this phone, the Sync is a good phone, but it has a few issues.

The LG CU500 is nothing like the verizon lg's, it is a much better phone then you think. Alot of people were skeptical like you about this phone cause it was LG, but they tried it and loved it.

Thanks for confirming!

But I did end up ordering a V3XX...
