Need Help With The GBC emulator PLZ

Ok i have the TMO dash and i have downloaded the Gnuboy emulator and i cant save. i try to click the save state but thwen i try to pull up the menu it just takes me ack to where i saved the emulator.

I try using the in-game save points but when i try to load up the save file it says there is no application associated with (name of rom) Run the application first and then open this file inside the application.

But i cant do that cuz i can't bring up the menu it just takes me to my storage card.

Plz help me out i've been havin this problem for about a week now and no one seems to know the answer to this.

If u dont know the answer to this question can u atleast point me in the direction of a better Gameboy color emulator. thanx a lot

(p.s I am a noob at postin on forums so pls tell me if i am breaking any rules thanx.)
