LG CU400 Over The Air Updates

Will Cingular push any updates to my LG CU400 to change the startup splash and everything to AT&T or can a store do that or what?

Neither will happen. You FW will still say Cingular and there probably will not be an update to your FW. Once it's successor is out then that will have AT&T FW.
