Saving IE Cache to memory card instead of phone memory

I thought I remembered seeing a registry edit that allows you to save temporary internet files to your memory card instead of your phone memory. Has anyone else heard of this?

Should find what you need here:

The cab file from dsigma6 works well. Another option is to purchase SmartTweaker and/or Tweaks2k2 for the smartphone platform. Both have the option to automatically set-up the option you want. Those programs also contain other tweaks you might be interested in. Most of those tweaks can be done manually but these utility programs save you time and can help minimize mistakes if you are uncomfortable with editing the registry yourself.

I downloaded PHM Registry Editor and manually edited the key. Works great! Now when i'm streaming hours of audio i'm not going to fill up my phone memory

Can someone tell me exactly what I need to edit in order to accomplish the above poster's objective? I, too, would like to stream to my 8525's SD card instead of memory.

Thank you.

Oops... I think I found it from the above XDA-developers link.

One more question...

How will this affect MemMaid? Will it know where to find IE cache files or will this need to be edited somehow?

Thanks again.
