Hello all

I ned help with this question ASAP.

I'm looking to upgrade my phone since my old one died out, and I need to make a decision ASAP.

Which is the better phone? the Nokia 6590 or the Motorola V60g? and as well what the difference between the 6590 and 6590i?

I've looked at all the reviews and I was gonna go for the 6590, however when I went to the rogers store the sales man told me to go for the V60 instead because it was more popular, and better reception.

so now I need advice ASAP because I'm gonna call up customer service in the next couple of hours and order my new phone

well...if you don't intend to travel or move to Europe/Asia, 6590i would serve you well enough.

Otherwise, V60's tri-band capability is surely handy.

RF-wise I would say V60 is a bit better, but not much UNLESS you're frequently in the miss-and-die RF area...so I wouldn't concern too much about this.

the V60's RF is only SLIIIIIIGHTLY better than the 6590i. the difference is, V60 is tri-band, so you can use it anywhere in the world, but the 6590i has 850, which will become very handy once Rogers' 850 network comes online.
aside from the RF, the 6590i has much much mroe features, so i think it's a great compromise and will make the 6590i a beter choice.

the V60 is popular, but it's too popular and you see them all over the place, too many people have them, but as for the 6590i, it hasn't been released too long, so not as many people ahve them..

go with the 6590i, it's a solid choice.

Are u sure u want V60??? That phone sucks big time man. I sold off mine not even 1 hour of using it.

I ordered the 6590 earlier today and so it should be here in a couple of days and I'll let you all know how its treating me

For now I'd just like to know what the difference between the 6590 and the 6590i is? I know the 6590i has an additional band (850 mHz) but is that all? are there any other features on the 6590i that aren't on the 6590? and as well I was unable to order the 6590i because it wasn't available on the upgrade plan :S....oh well

just wanted to know the difference

hey, i just traded off my 6590i for a v60g, i know everyone here seems to think that the 6590 is better but the main reason i traded is because of the rf and sound quality on the 6590, i did not find the rf on the 6590 to be very stable, and the sound quality... i noticed quite a bit of transmitter buzzing,
when i buy a phone i look at a few different factors,
RF performance, will my phone work where i need it to work??
sound quality, i want to hear the person i am trying to talk to!
as far as features go, well the 6590 just didnt cut it,
it has nothing that blew me away(not saying that the v60 does)
its just that i found the phone to be a little dissapointing,
if a want a phone with loads a features i will go and order a sony ericsson p800, but i want a phone that will do the purpose of a PHONE if i want portable gaming i will get a gameboy or something, and the build on the 6590 is also dissapointing
it was creaky and just didnt feel solid.
thats my opinion dosent mean it has to be yours
