How to shorten 8525 vibrate text alert

Alright so when I put my Cingular 8525 in vibrate mode and get a text message the vibrate alert goes for like 5 or 7 seconds... And its a pretty loud vibrate. I did some searching and am going to try PhoneAlarm but was wondering if there was a registry tweak I could do to just shorten how long it actually vibrates.

Any input is appriciated,

i would also like to know this..

btw i deleted phone alarm.. causing wayyy to many problems

Yea I tried loading that and my expirence was pretty horrible. It changed a ton of settings and just seemed a bit too clunky for me. Maybe I just didnt know what I was doing but it didnt seem like it could even do what I want.

Still looking for any suggestions people have. Thanks guys!
