Key Pad doesn't Work on the X01HT

Hey I just got my phone the other day it was upgraded to the Windows 6.0. When I go to the phone section and try to dial a number using the keypad it doesn't allow me to. As soon as I push a button on the keypad on the phone section the screen freezes and then I have to push end to go back and just use the touch screen to dial.
Anyone know how to fix this?????
