USCC V3m - flashing/java questions

Hi, I just purchased a new moto v3m from USCC (s/w version ncr_01.1b.00r). It doesn't appear to have support for Java, and I've also been having some weird problems that appear to be some kind of filesystem corruption (possibly due to the use of Moto4Lin, not sure).

If I'm reading everything correctly, it looks like the appropriate monster pack would fix these issues. Is this true? If so, where are USCC and V3M compatible ones? (Most I see are for V3 or v3c, and focused around going from Verizon to Alltel.) Are v3c monster packs compatible with the v3m?

In the CDMA world we have Monster Firmware files... They completely erase your phone's flash and file system, and re-write it...

It is not advised to flash your phone with a firmware from another carrier, unless you know what you are doing... for example, we've seen how using the Alltel firmware on Verizon network has some problems with authentication... and needs extra efforts to make everything work.

If you flash a USCC phone with other firmware.. you need to be sure what is involved before you do it.

We haven't seen any V3C or V3M firmware files which support Java yet.. Many of us are eagerly hoping for someone to leak us one... (remember, we in the CDMA world do not have the tools to successfully back up the firmware from a phone into a something that can be used to flash a phone)...

Yes, you can flash a V3M phone with V3C firmware, but you'll loose use of the Transflash/MicroSD slot... and other V3M specific features.
