Please help !!

My v551 screen is dead and my data cable seem to be dead too (talk about bad luck) so i need the keystrokes to enable the bluetooth and the "find me" on my v551 so I canm backup my data.

I searched about everywhere first but I cant find any info here or somewhere else.

Since this model is not sold anymore, it's hard to find a place where they have some left so I can get the keystrokes so a little help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Ho. I tried to use the same keystrokes as my v360 but it seems different so..

It depends on how you've set up your menus. Everyone has their own preferences.

I was just thinking that. Many people change their menus around, so it's different for every person.

have you tried disconnecting the flex cable connector from the motherboard and seeing if the computer will then detect the phone?

why dont you back up your data with a "DATA" cable? it might be easier.

if its standard... then I got you...
cingular btw

menu > right > down > select > down > down > down > select > select > down > down > select > down > select > select
that should power blue tooth

then

Red button (to go fresh) > menu > right > down > select > down > down > down > select > select > down > down > select

That's find me

Hope it helps...

the only problem is to back up your data off your phone, you must go into the sounds and pictures and pick which pictures it is you want, then go to copy, then look for devices, and send via bluetooth, this is impossible to do if your screen is shot, because how do you know which picture you are selecting? impossible, but a cable is still recommended like I said
