I haven't even had this phone for a year and it cost me a crapload to buy. I've only used it for a total of maybe 3 months since last september because I've always been waiting for a reflash and shipping and so forth. Ive already reflashed it once and now I have the restart problem on my JP firmware. I loved this phone whenever I was able to use it but now im really upset. I don't know if I should reflash it again and then sell it or just sell it right now. And even if i sell it, I have no clue what to phone get. I'm really lost right now

If you're going to sell - reflash - just worth it in total. What colour do you have and how many accessories/box etc?

I am sorry to hear of your troubles. I guess unlocked phones can be like this. I can say my Japanese one hasn't had a problem and my 2 Euro handsets are perfect (but locked).

its a white 903sh with JP firmware and the only accessory I have is a 1gb memory card in addition to what comes with it. Bought it brand new so I didn't expect so many problems so soon.

blackwindexe, i am feeling the same and yet ive only used the phone for 1-2 months currently..

unfortunately i dont have as many problems as you do because mine is TW/HK hybrid fw.. the phone just doesnt appeal out to me any more.. it gets considerable scratched easily without the need to drop the phone (and ive never dropped it), i baby my phone.. and the software itself isnt that great IMO.. but its still operatable to me.

maybe its because ive been a few years of a SE fan.. i want to move back to my w900 but i want something new.. yet again, as like you, i dont know what to move on to, or if it is worth it or not

sorry to hear. I think a reflash might fix... ? My phone seems to be doing OK (Jap FW too). If you can't sort it and want to sell it, please let me know! I collect them (broken or not).

Have you ever reflash with other firmwares? Maybe it would be more stable with others.

yes but supposedly my hardware is unstable so i have to stick with japanese.

i think euro is the most stable firmware 1.46v
i had no problems with it and neither does my freind whos been using it for 2 years

i got it reflashed like 2 months ago by evilgabbie who took forever but still did an excellent job. he said the euro firmware wasnt working properly with my phone or something so he just put it back to jp.

it may be completely unrelated but the official spec of the 903sh is for a maximum of 256mb.

your phone only accepted a full readout... any firmware flashing (in reality just patch files MADE by flashing tool developers) doesn't erase/write enough of your board for it to function properly...

try the #+power option, 8+power in your case will only make it worst

actually sharp 903 supports up to 1gig of mem, anything over 1 gig it wont read and will cause problems

i only have a 1gig card anyway.

btw the phone is a 2006 model. that could be the problem.

naw i use a 2006 model as well and its flashed to euro 1.46, and so far i had no problems with it

however i dont know if this is entirly true but people in the forums seems to say that 903 likes sandisk mem cards the best and the most problem free, according to what i read so far in forums and i use sandisk as well , iunno if its entirely true though
