I got a Blackberry for free from work yesterday. This thing is really hot. But anyways last night I hooked it to my desktop and was doing something. Now my phone can't play any video, or view photos. it gives me this run around saying

"UNABLE TO DISPLAY FILE/MEMORY/SAMPLES/VIDEOS/BLACKBERRY.AVI" and it does the same thing too with photos and ringtones.

I hope its not a serious issue

Did you pull the battery? I found this helps most problems.

let me guess you have a red pearl?

its a common issue if you reboot you'll probably get an uncought expcetion error

go ahead and download the hadheld software here : https://www.blackberry.com/Download...4E4F82F9F00E7D4

install it
run applicaiton loader
at the end choose advanced
check the boxes to erase applications
once it starts walk away for about 30 mins
once your phone is booted back up, your issue is resolved
