Whats the deal with this crap? Why cant i send files, pictures or contact via bluetooth?

My buddy had his boring nokia out tonight sending me music, pictures and even his freaking appointments.

Has someone made a software to enable the blue tooth to be used for sharing?

Hmmm....... If the phone has blue tooth, you can send Ringtones and pictures. Have you tried reading the manual? I have a lgcu500 and I can send and receive ringtones and pictures without any problems.

Read the manual!!! For Gods Sakes!!!

Total commander will allow you to send files over bluetooth. I believe there is a registry hack that will enable obex.

You hold tap on a file. Than you choose "Beam File...". Than wait a while(about 5 sec) than the bluetooth option will show up. Make sure you have blutooth on of course.

You have to create a partnership with the device to which you wish to connect. You can download a PDF manual from the Cingular Support Forums at https://www.cingular.com/support/se...ular&model=8125

The 8125 does not support OBEX FTP, but it does support OBEX Push.

First: You need to have Bluetooth turned on in both sending and receiving units.
Second: The receiving unit must be set to Discoverable for the transfer to work.
Third: As posted earlier you tap and hold the desired file in File Explorer and select Beam. If the above conditions are met, a Bluetooth option for the receiving device will appear after the IR beam item. Tap on the item for the bluetooth device and it will be sent. The receiving device will most likely have to authorize the transfer though.
