Hello.

I was wondering if there any special cars that you are just enjoy watching, or even make you smile every time you see one on the road.

I came back from Germany not a long time ago and I must say that it's a great feeling to see a Mercedes S600 passing you on nearly 150 miles an hour.

i loves me a good lambo every now and then.

Posted by: 01oo001

Not really, because where I live we have all kinds of cars, starting from civics to lambo's and exotics. And most of them are "fixed" up cars so I am hard to please with cars these days haha, but the other day i saw a CLS63, it was da bomb!

yeah i agree with you 01oo001...seeing lambos, bentlys, RR's, high end benzes, and even the ocasional Maybach have almost "desensatized" me to them...dont get the "wow" factor from me anymore.

California has a lot of that. I see cars like that all the time.

We see everything in SoCal but I love a clean original Mini Cooper

Lotus Elise's and I never get sick of Gallardo's or F360's

even in LA~ the F50 always brings a smile to my face.

I second that, but someone in the surrounding area has an Enzo here

Saw a Mclaren MB yesterday - sweet ride....

I saw a Ford GT the other day. What a gorgeous car with an even more intoxicating noise coming from the tailpipe. Seriously, I think it is God's own car, if he wanted to buy one.

And to know that it's a real supercar without any BS or poser status - beautiful.

while i love exotics and supercars, i find cars that are more realistic a much bigger pleasure. for me, everytime I see an Infiniti M drive past. i hope to own an M45 Sport one day. out of supercars though, the Ferrari F40 is one of my favorites. haven't seen one in real like sadly. i have seen an F50 driving around here from time to time

saw an Ariel Atom in 'sauga yesterday....
i didn't know any existed in the GTA...

the usual ride that brings a smile to my face are STi and STIs..

I like that there really aren't a lot of them (yet)

Posted by: IIGQ4U

Perhaps because they aren't practical? They don't carry a very high pricetag, neither does the Ariel Atom for that matter.

Posted by: paul34

No, its mainly because Lotus makes real cars, for real car lovers. No BS, just a great car that is a real track star.

When most people spend more money on cars, they usually think "luxury = good" which isn't true. But then again, most people know next to nothing about cars anyway.

With that said, I'd LOVE to buy an Ariel Atom! In fact, it'd be my first choice for a weekend ride if I had $50 000 burning a hole in my pocket

Mustangs and Super Duty's

Posted by: chorro

saw an original ford fiesta dissolving from rust on the side of the road!!

Posted by: TheRupp

That's true about the Lotus... but you guys want to see a rare sight:

I've only seen one of these parked, never on the road.

BMW Isetta

For me, it would be the 84-87 Buick Grand National. It's my personal "I never should have sold it" car.

What you say about real cars being for real car lovers a matter of opinion. A "Real" car lover can be just as apt to enjoy luxury cars that would fair poorly on a track (Because they probably don't care). Not everybody enjoys or prefers sport cars.

I personally am a sports car person but understand that many will have varying opinions. For me, a sports car may or may not be extremely fast in a straight line but will prove its superiority in any corner (Not just left hand corners).

saw this car driven by Steve Urkel on Family Matters on that episode where Steve Urkel was learning to drive with Carl Winslow!!

That car had no speedometer, so Steve Urkel had a piece of chalk and a chalkboard and you'd write down what you THINK how fast you were going!

lol, yes. NASty CAR need not apply.

All show and no go is not acceptable though.

Even the nicest luxury cars perform better than their peers at the time~ hence their exhorbitant prices (a function of supply/demand). Think Bugatti...
