XV6700 Text Message repeat notification ?

When I configue Sounds and Notifications for Event: New Text Message alert, the "Repeat" checkbox doesn't seem to be enabled. Is there any way of making this functional ? I understand that third party softwares like PhoneAlarm can do that, but isn't there any workaround like registry fix for this ?
