Simply, this is all i need:
i need to know how to charge my motorola razr v3r through my computer.
Thats it.
I won't have my wall charger for another 5 days.
I've tried downloading a driver, but when i connect my phone and it tries to locate the software, it says i have no recognizeable software for my phone at all.
my boyfriend has the same phone as i do and he is able to charge his perfectly (he never even had to download a driver!).

Someone help, please?

It won't charge without the driver, though. The computer has to be on, and even at that, the port won't put out enough juice to charge unless the driver is installed and the phone is recognized.

I know I am a bit late on this one, but you can boot your computer and enter the bios, then try to see if the phone is charging there. I noticed mine would charge before I installed drivers while windows was loading, but stopped once windows started. Or just get the drivers via a simple google search.
