PEBL U6 Motorola Phonetools issues

I have just tried to transfer files from my PEBL U6 to my HP via the USB cable and Phonetools ver 4.5.1 program from motorola. After a couple hours of fighting with customerservice and the programs themselves, one representative came to the realization that the phonetools program is incompatible with the Windows XP Media Center Edition, Service Pack 2. YEAAAAAA!
Anyway, is the another way to transfer media files (pics, video, audio recordings) from my phone to my computer? Please help before I have an anyurism

you can always try and get a bluetooth dongle for your computer.. and transfer files that way.. usually runs like $20-$30 dollars or so.. i have a motorola a1200 that MPT wouldnt recognize but i got it to pair with the bluetooth USB and now i can transfer pics, MP3' etc back from the computer to the phone..
