I intend to get the new Razr Maxx in a month or so and was wondering if it will have the Verizon UI? If anybody has this phone please let me know of the UI and any other good or bad stuff. Also, how do you change the UI on a phone?

Just got this phone yesterday, and yes, it does have the standard VZW UI. Would you expect anything else from VZW?

So far, I really like the phone.

As do I. The Verizon UI is the best Ive seen from them, although at times, its a bit laggy.

Hi i have a motorola maxx ve. Verizon UI doesn't matter to me. Maxx is a great phone, great reception, voulme is good too.. I can able to send/receive pictures too.

yep, bought this sweet phone today. they messed up and left my old phone on while activating this one XD!! so now, it needs to be flashed or replaced because i can not get to the GET IT NOW or MOBILE WEB functins att all
has same ol' GUI as the other VZW phones, not like the new tv phones which feature an extended gui that is better.

good phone. dont let teh GUI stop you!

Having a "new tv phone" (the Samsung U620)... I don't see any real difference between it and the Verizon UI on the V3C/V3M.. other than the "skin" that makes you choose between the 5 tabs when you press the Menu Button..

i.e. V3C/V3M.. press the menu button.. it takes you to the Contacts tab... The U620's default theme gives me a choice of 1-5 which correspond to the 5 tabs... so I have an extra step to get to a menu... Once in there, get the same tabbed verizon ui.. ok, maybe slightly different icons.. but same features/functions.

My enV, Chocolate, and u740 are similar.... and you can pick a "display theme" that removes this, and goes back to the exact same look as the V3C/V3M.

is there any way to get the moto GUI back on it ?
