slider usb charging?

I have a kx18 which from what I gather is basically a rebadged slider remix. I I have used it to tether successfully, but I would like to find a way to charge via the same usb cable that the data is being transferred on. If that is not possible, is there another port I can charge with while the usb cable is being used to tether. Thanks for the info.

what's the problem? just use +vcc and gnd pins (1 and 4 of the USB plug).

id also like to know a little more aobut how to do this. ive lost my chargeer and all i have left is the usb cable
