Couple Questions About the P990i and UIQ 3.0 in General

Hello, I am very close to buying a new phone and it is going to be a P990i or some nokia N/E series Symbian. I am an ex-E61 user which had a very nice 3rd generation S60 interface.

1. Does UIQ 3.0 play nicely with Mac OS X? Is it capable of sycing calendars, to-dos, and contacts through iSync? If not I can manage things through XP via Boot Camp I guess, but I would much rather use my Apple.

2. How fast is text entry? On my PEBL (which has word completion like the P990 I believe) and on my Nokia 3230 I am faster at typing words than the system can keep up with to the point that I finish a sentence and watch the last 10 words be written afterwords, sometimes with errors from pressing the buttons too fast. With Qwerty I'm only faster as I remember from the E61, so I'm worried that the phone's interface won't be able to keep up.

no, the p990i doesn't play nicely with isync. there are workarounds available.

text entry should keep pace with your digits.
