8125: Unresponsive.. Dead?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

For some reason, my 8125 has become unresponsive. I can't select anything on the today page or start any programs. If I plug it up USB to the computer, the computer doesn't recognize that it's hooked up (but the charge light does come on).

If I take out the battery, hook up the USB to the computer, put the battery back in, and turn it on: active sync does start to find the phone.. but after awhile sitting on 'looking for changes' it goes back to 'not connected'..

My battery is at 63%, phone mem has 6.3M free, storage card has 798M free.

Faulty battery? Out of memory? Are there viruses for PocketPCs?

Well, I did a hard reset..

Boy, talk about going back to the stone age.. Lost all my programs, can't connect to the internet, etc..

This will take a day or two to get back to the way I like it..

Would love to get a 8525, but we don't have 3G in this area..
