Samsung i730- Disable volume

I need to disable the volume rocker on the side of the phone because I constantly miss calls and messages due to the switch being so easily pressed in my pocket. I would like to have it permanently set to vibrate, or possibly using an internal menu to change it. Please help.

What I do is simply lock the keys with the little slider just below the rocker. Every time you need to answer just unlock and talk. What I do myself is use the blue tooth ear piece to answer, even in lock mode. You do not have to unlock to have the blue tooth answer.
