KRZR K1M Ringtones wont play...

When i go into my ringtones and press play
none of the ringtones will play

but it works whenever people call

and my volume is on high so i dont know what is wrong

any help?

yea i got the same problem too. did you put custom rings on your phone. i did but i deleted the .db files before and rebooted the phone and bam my phones jacked

It's good that it now works but why are you deleting databases from the phone? All you need is a micro flash and a mini USB cord to put anything on the KRZR K1m from a PC. No extra software, no hacks, no mods nothing like that.

Just seems like a lot of fiddlin' around for a very simple process. Just my humble opinion.

Edit: Nevermind I see your provider is Verizon. 'nuff said.

How do you do it? I haven't put custom ringtones on my phone yet but my standard tones won't play unless I'm getting a call... Not a huge deal, but it pisses me off because I just got this phone for my birthday and I really wish a) I could get this to work and b) get ringtones on my phone eventually (I hate how verizon cripples everything)...

The obvious question here is: In the two days that you have had the phone what "tweaks" have you done to it. Even though it's a Verizon phone I'm pretty sure that the phone right out of the box will play standaard ringtones.

Ok, well, to clarify, I haven't done anything other than a couple of seem edits to enable those default ringtones that are disabled but even when I restored by backed-up version of the seem, it still wouldn't work. Other than that, all I did was stick my microSD card in and sync the music using the software that verizon provides for download on their site. And yes, you are correct, when I first pulled the phone out of the box, they did play, but they have since stopped working.

when your at your ringtones page
play any ringtone and raise the volume with the side buttons
the volume is probably down

haha thats how i fixed it
