XV6700 No radio attached???

I was trying to install Bluetooth headset and lost phone capabilities. I've tried hard reset and soft reset, removing battery, mtty (which for some reason does not givem e a USB option) and finally am about to try punt kick. Aside from being a programming genius, which I am not, is there an easy way to reconvert this now $400 PDA back into a $400 PDA/Cell phone?
