i installed wm6 a few days ago. but i cant get my gmail settings right. i can send/recieve only when connected to a wifi network. but when im away from home and on the edge network and try to send/recieve, it says syncronization error at the top and then pops up a error screen saying "your internet connection is not configured properly. verify your settings in connections"

i can use edge internet while this is going on so i have a connection. on wm5 i had my gmail account settings set to "wap network". now on wm6 i can only set it to "internet" or "work" network. i think this may be my problem.

any suggestions? thanks

dub6pimp - did you ever figure out how to get GMail to work on a wi-fi connection without the data plan? I have everything setup the same way and get the same results as you on WM6.
