I just got my Motorola phone tools cd, installed it, downloaded all the updates, etc. I had to manually pick the driver for my W315 and all I get is an error msg saying communication port unavaliable. I know the USB cable is hooked up right cos my phone is charging. Please help.

I just got the W315, got the MPT program, installed it, it updated, I installed it, and it says "make sure the phone is not locked" it's not, connected: USB Cable (*) ==> [NEXT] ==> Please turn your phone on and connect it to the cable, then connect your cable to your PC "your phone will be detected and set up automatically"==> Connect phone ==> Please wait, your phone is being installed and set up (Found New Hardware shows "Motorola W315" dialog comes up that says "please select the best match for your hardware from the list below" and has no options if I wait it starts installing Motorola USB Modem and creating a Sys Restore Point, says "your device is installed ==> MPT says mobile Phone Tools did not detect your phone. Do you want to manually install your phone with mobile Phone Tools? ==> [Yes] ==> Welcome To The Device Configuration Wizard. This Wizard helps you configure your device. ==> [Next] ==> Select device. Which device do you want to use? (I have 2 options: 1. Other Device or 2. Motorola USB Modem. Either one I choose takes me to a scan and ends up saying "Your device has been detected but could not be identified. Click on 'Next' to choose your device from a list") ==> [Next] ==> I select 'Motorola CDMA' (other choices are Bluetooth Adapter, Motorola GSM, Motorola TDMA) and there is no W315 listed, nor in any of the other categories. I select 'CDMA Generic' and it sits 'Initializing' forever. Do I need another driver? Do I need to select a diferent model? Your LINK didn't work, it took me to BVRPfroums "Questions: Calendar", but there was nothing helpfull there.
