I`ve got two 8910`s that each have a seperate problem. One will not find service , and now the replacement will power loop (restart just after starting up). I`v now pick`d up the cables and from reading, I am using qpst, curitel drivers, and am able to read file system and even write to general files. The problem I am having is to overwrite a nv/system file or to restore the gcn file with qpst. I get an error when trying to overwrite, and I get "cannot communicate in diagnostic mode" when trying to restore .qcn. I am just determined to get one of the phones working again, as they are out of warranty and hoping that I can move a system file from one phone to another and get it to work. Anyone have some experience with this. Does the phone have to be put in a mode other than diagnostic? Also any input or links on these problems is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Joat.

The 8910 will not fully work with QPST. UT Starcom has separate PST programs for many of their handsets.
