Quick Question for Pearl

I currently don't have a data package and I ordered it but it doesn't activate until my next billing cycle. I wanted to set up my e-mail before I got the data package so I can start using it right away, but my Pearl does not have the e-mail set up icon.

I was wondering if the icon will appear when my data package starts or is the phone supposed to have it already on the phone even if I don't have the data package. I don't have any icons hidden cause I selected "Show All" and it still does not appear. I also don't have the brower icon either but I do have the map icon which you need the data package to use. I just want to know if my Pearl is missing icons or will these icons appear once the data package has been activated.

Did you ask to have it not activated till the next billing cycle? If not they can have it up and running in only a few minutes. Once it is up your Blackberry will get provisioned with new service books that will give you all the features of a Blackberry. You can do anything till then as you got to set your email address you want forwarded. This can be doen till you are set up on the BB plan.

If you want it now, call them and tell them to do it now.
