Turning 8525 screen on

How do you turn the 8525 screen on by pressing the end call button?

I'm assuming you're talking about when it goes into "sleep" mode and simply pressing a button or sliding it open doesnt work. If you are then the only way to turn the screen back on is to hit the power button once and it should pop right back for you.

I was able to do it before I upgrade the ROM. I forgot how I did it.
