Bad Ringtone Quality

Hello, I am new here so I hope this is the right place to post this. I currently have a Verizon Motorola Razr V3m. When I first got my phone, I would upload songs to Mobile17.com and send them to my phone and when I received them they would be in a .mid format which sounded pretty good for the most part. But just recently when I sent them to my phone they would show up in a .qcp format which sounds like I just put the voice recorder up to my home speaker system. I tried using other websites and I emailed the song to my phone myself, but still the same thing. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
