Greetings all:
I have a Motorola Q (Verizon), a MacBook Pro (running 10.4.9) and I want to get on the internet using the EVDO and connecting via USB.
I can get it to work via PAN/Bluetooth, but the speeds suffer as a limitation of the bluetooth connection.
I can get it to work on Windows XP (in a boot camp partition) on this laptop, using PDANet (junefabrics.com) so I know a USB tether is possible, even without paying the $15 a month. I just can't find an equivalent application to PDANet on a Mac, or detailed instructions on how to configure it manually.
What I have not been able to do, is "tether" it using a USB cable. I tried Missing Sync, because someone said that would work. I couldn't get it to go. Does someone have instructions on how to get this to work USING USB?
Thanks in advance,
Rob
