Bitpim Question

This may not be the right place for this, if not appologize.
I have Bitpim 9.13 and 9.14. Does anyone out there know if the T9 editor works on either of these? I can use it on the program but it wont seem to let me send that data to my phone?
Is it just something that the Bitpim developers havent finished yet? or am I doing something wrong?
