on your phone, do this:

Start/Settings/Connections/GPRS/

From here, this might be different depending on how you bought the phone (locked/unlocked, retail/used, etc)

If there is a profile for "Data", open it and edit it.

If there isn't, then press the right soft key for the menu, and select "add".

Insert your region and carrier information from the link I provided, and then thank me profusely for the hand-holding, step by step I just gave you.

I ended up taking it to a store a couple days back and they did it....really appricate the info though, great future reference!
