I'm thinking about adding another line to my account because I need one for work. Yeah, it's the 5th and last one that I can add. Anyways, I'm also thinking about getting the refurb blackberry pearl or a sync (the blue one @ Wal-Mart's $28.88 price hopefully if a corporate store will match it), but I haven't really decided on either one. I want to know if I get a refurb phone as an additional line, do I have to deal with the media net packages or can I just get the phone and just use it for voice (because I really don't need it for work) or just get the sync and get the MEdia max package and then cancel after a month?
(BTW, three other family members have one line each and I currently have one and i'm tired of prepaid nokia's from cingular when I can add another line and use my pool of minutes.)

I just need a quality phone that don't cost a lot. I like the features of my blackjack but I want something $99 or less and I want something smaller. I might get the sync because it's a flip phone and I trust samsung phones. I never had a blackberry but I heard they were good too--and PTT is a plus, but if I got it I would like to try it out. I don't want a Motorola AT ALL because every Razr that I had was junk and I ended up selling them on ebay. I don't want a SE phone because...well, the same thing. I don't want a Nokia because.......well, I have a 6030 and the sound quality isn't as good as my blackjack and I don't really care for the other models. LG? I heard they were good, but I heard things about the CU500V and the other ones--they're the free phones and I don't buy free phones because of what I heard on this website.

Also, I really don't want another blackjack because of the battery issue, and my bro has the red c417 and I think those are the cheapest samsung's on the market with a camera and I'm not too crazy for the graphics. So really, it's come down to the sync or the blackberry pearl for me. As a matter of fact, 2 of my best friends have the sync's and they are good quality Samsung phones. I kinda like them. But i'm also partial to the pearl, but I'm not sure about getting a 2nd smartphone.

So if anybody else will help me out with this dilemma, please post. I don't have a paystub or a work email address so I can get on premier (substitute teachers don't get a email address--but hopefully i'll get a email address next year when I student teach.)

I got the sync for $28.88 (matched Wal-Mart's price).

I just ordered a refurb pearl. It has the same warranty as the regular phones so hopefully it will be ok.
