has anyone found out how to get the pictures out of the "saved to phone"? you can send the pictures from the camera but not from the saved to phone section....

Go to ur photo albums. select options, then move/copy, then move to sdcard. the sdcard can be read on a pc with a reader.

Remove the microSD card if you have it inserted, connect your phone to your computer with the USB cable, find the new "disk" Windows has found and installed, look for a folder called DCIM and your pic should be in there.

Hate to bump a month-old thread, but I am wondering if this worked out. I would like the ability to periodically get the pictures off of my phone. While I have the Vision Pack that allows me to send them to myself and others, I would rather find a way (i.e. cable + PC) to download them and save the $15 per month.

Any thoughts? Also, where might one get a cable if that's how it works?

go to google and search for a program called Bitpim. it will allow you to backup all information from a sanyo phone to your computer using a USB cable. very easy to set up as well

use bitpm...

You can get the correct drivers from www.rpiwireless.com. I just posted in another thread about settng up my sisters phone and it worked fine. If you use this 1xkdie3d coupon code it will give you 20% off and free shipping if not, you can try this www.rpiwireless.com/mobiletools1.zip and it should give you the proper drivers.

So If I have the new Sanyo Katana DLX and a USB data cable that came with my 8400 and I plugged it in to my pc and the 8400 and it said I needed drivers. So for the DLX does that mean I can hook it up to my computer and transfer my AAC ringers instead of going to Sprint Focus and uploading one by one.. Or is this just for pictures?
So all I need is a program called Bitpim and it will work? I have windows Vista.

Thanks, Rose

dude the dlx just came out. my origional katana isent even fully supported yet. but with my data cable and bitpim i can do it. just click on get from phone and select wallpaper

I have used Bitpim with Katana DLX - and I had to code the Bitpim support for it - I have not uploaded it for Bitpim yet because it is not ready - all I can get right now is the pictures - and right now you would need to DL the source and run from there as it is not supported in the release. I have the option on my Katana DLX to move those pictures from phone to SD - Update your firmware and then when you are in the pictures folder of your phone - you will select the image - and select Options on the lower right of your screen and then select move to Sd (or send to bluetooth if you have it) it will ask for if you want that one only or more files - you can select...
