Ok, so I'm looking to do a reflash because it says it enhances picture quality and adds multiple letter search to the phone book. the problem is, my phones S/W Version is R374_G_0E.42.09R_A while the reflash says its R374_G_0E.42.08R, so I'm worried that my phone will be going to an older version. Can anyone give me any advice as to how to proceed?

The latest is 42.17R and can be found at MotoX

Ok, so I want to install that. My questions now are these:
1. Are there any drawbacks to using that particular reflash (glitches, etc)?
2. Is it possible to kill my phone doing a reflash? If so, what steps should I take to prevent it?
3. Can I just do this reflash without having to anything else (such as a flex or I read something about having to reflash DRM icons)?
4. And otherwise just any general help or advice would be much appreciated. I've never done any of this before and I'm very nervous about killing my phone.

edit: Also, is the process really as simple as opening rsdlite, choosing the file, and pressing start?

Just a follow up for anyone that is wondering. I went ahead and did the reflash, and here are the answers to my own questions:
1. I have not noticed any glitches so far.
2. I cannot answer this one, but I will say there were no problems for me.
3. The reflash was the only thing I had to do.

and to answer the edit: yes, the process is really just that simple (so long as you have the correct drivers installed, which i did not originally).

hope that helps anyone looking at this
