Web browser problem on moto rokr e6

I have just botten a moto rokr e6 unlocked on the net. I am on the rogers network and I cannot get web access. I phoned rogers and got them to give me the APN, IP, port, and all that is needed. I click "connect" and it says "connected to server" but when i click on google or type in any site it says "Network problem" failed to load site "www.google.com". Can anyone assist me?
