Does anyone have both the v3xx and the old razr do a check for me in regards to their battery please?

I'm thinking about getting one of these.

But I'm not sure if the battery notches are the same.

Thanks!

On a side note, I killed my V3xx yesterday in about 3hr of bluetooth tethering, is this normal?

Another new V3xx user who is less than impressed with the battery life. The battery charge in my old V3 lasted 4 or 5 days with no issue. With the same amount of use, I haven't been able to go 2 days on the new v3xx.

Yea I was quite suprised, i was able to tether with bluetooth on my w810i for 4 hr no problem and still have another hr or 2 worth of talk time left... i wish my w810i had 3g ;/

Are you in a 3G network area? If so, talk time is usually like 1/2-1/4 the normal amount you'd get with just 2G GSM. So if you'd normally get 6 hours of talk time in a 2G network, you'll get 2-3 hours on 3G.

I have a V3xx and have no 3G network coverage here. I've found battery life to be exceptional so far. If you're in a 3G area, then thats probably why your battery life is so poor. There are ways to disable the 3G and force 2G only on the v3xx, if battery life is your main concern.

The xx shows it as having a different battery from the standard V3......now whether there interchangable I'm not sure but I'll try and check tomorrow.

I guess the 3G thing make sense, faster data speed = higher power usage for the antena. I did tether for about 2-3 hr hehe.

The batteries are not interchangeable between V3 and V3xx.

Thats not exactly correct. 3G = CDMA = higher power consumption.

I checked already - no they are not interchangable.

The reason for low battery is 3g - but it is still VERY GOOD compared to nokia n75
