Sprint Sanyo 8400 PRL update

I Have a two month old 8400 that has prl 20224 and i cannot get it updated I have talked to customer service about a dozen times and they dont have a clue. I have went to sprint store and they say a new prl dont exist, but customer service say it should be 20227.

have customer service send you a print-out (if they do that)
im guessing the retail stores just dont give a crap and dont want to deal with it, b/c you cant make them.
